  • 10.30 – 12. 30 Basics of Flower Care,Special Floral Treatments. How to buy flowers.
  • 12.30- 13.30  Lunch Break
  • 13.30-14.30   Flower care and cleaning
  • 14.30- 17. 00  Round table top flower design. Using floral foam in floral designs. Proportion theory.
DAY 3 10.30-15:00
  • 09.30 - Gathering in Florart Flower School.
  • 09.30 -14.30 - Trip to Flower Auction, Flower Markets and Floral Equipment Markets
  • 15.00-  Returning back to Florart
  • Florart service bus is going to provide a round-trip transfer.
  • Field trip will be in Anatolian/Asian side of Istanbul
  • You may purchase flowers, accessories and equipment from all markets by using the account of Florart.

General Program Information

This is a professional program designed for the candidates who seek technical&theoretical knowledge and practice which will provide them many ideas to find out their business models for developing their career as a florist, floral designer or wedding-invitation organizer. No experience / pre-requisite is required to attend the training.

* Flowers and materials used during the training is included in the tuition fees. All flower arrangements will be given as a gift to the participants

* Hot drinks and snacks are a treat. For lunch, students can make use of the surrounding restaurants.

* “Certificate of Participation” is issued as a reference of achievement document to the participants at the end of the training.

Esra Şavkıner is the founder of the first Flower School in Turkey. She has a Global BAC accredited “Professional Business in Floristry” diploma from one of the most prestigious flower schools in the UK named Judith Blacklock Flower School. She defines her self as a Floristry Tutor and Flower Designer.
She is carrying out her studies inline with Judith Blacklock who is the most experienced floristry tutor and writer of many floristry books as well as Lucas Jansen who is the most well-known floristry tutor in the Netherlands. She has also many floristry contacts from the US, Korea and Italy.
Her aim alongside with giving floristry courses is to evolve floristry business in Turkey and encouraging dissemination of Floristry Business. She is also carrying out many corporal events and consultancies. Also, she has experience in flower sales in one of the biggest interior home design chain stores in Turkey.

Ebru Ozlem Azman is a dreamer…She knows the famous quote by John Lennon “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality”  After studying Landscape Architecture in Turkey and Polland she got her MBA degree at Bilgi University and worked in corporate companies in Turkey and abroad.

After completing her Floristry Education Florart Flower School and experienced in many projects with Esra Şavıner she has got the Assistant Floristry Tutor title in Florart. Ebru is also the founder of Sisters’ Flowers and improving her talent on minimal organic accessories.

Ebru is now assisting all the professional courses of Florart, giving minimal floral accessories workshops and also carrying out corporal events management in Florart Flower School and Dream on Flowers e-marketplace.
